About

ABOUT LIVELY HOPE:

Counseling

Lively Hope Counseling offers individual, marriage, and family counseling appointments for any age group with an experienced, trained, counselor to those with a wide variety of needs.

Authenticity

We desire the Lord to greatly use the Lively Hope Counseling as a vital tool to help people “recover themselves out of the snare of the devil” (2 Timothy 2:26) and achieve freedom in their daily lives, to then walk in truth, liberty, and confidence.

Transformation

We pray many come to know Christ for the first time through believing faith and others who have been believers for decades will overcome deep strongholds in their lives and find release from the lies of the enemy that have kept them bound.

mission

Lively Hope Counseling was started in July 2023.  God burdened my heart to offer biblically based counseling using the King James Bible to support those struggling with addictions and emotional issues. This ministry minded service is designed to compliment not replace the teaching and preaching of the local church.

Hello, nice to meet you!

I'm Janet

I was born and raised in MN, a farm girl, the oldest of 11 children.  I was saved when 17 years old but without the support of a Bible believing church, I wandered in the wilderness of the world for many years.  God gently guided me through many trials and eventually began restoration after meeting and marrying my husband, Keith Queen.  We have four grown children and three grandchildren.  Keith and I live in rural Iowa.  I am an active member at Marion Avenue Baptist Church and enjoy gardening when not serving at MABC. I earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of St. Thomas and have over three decades of behavioral health experience in a variety of practice settings.  I am certified as Spiritual Counselor through Harvest Baptist Bible College.

OUR Curriculum:

Proven Results

Lively Hope mainly draws from Harvest Baptist Bible College’s Spiritual Warfare material developed by Pastor Marvin Smith.
